![]() ![]() At some point they just pulled the plug on supporting them and it was just a footnote in a software release at some point that was the final nail in the coffin, saying that they no longer supported the DS2416. Stayed on Nuendo 1.x forever (literally years) waiting for the promised support for them in newer software - which never happened in the end despite them promising support in newer software for years. I still have 2 x DSP Factory cards sitting in a drawer along with the ADAT interface for them and one of the 4 in/out 5 1/4" (cdrom sized) I/O units meant to go into a CDROM slot in your tower (I had 2 of those I/O units but gave one to a buddy along with another DSP Factory card in a DAW I built for him). YAMAHA DSP FACTORY DS2416 DRIVERS FULLI then bought Steinberg's MR816CSX, but I really missed the full input mixer which I had in DSP Factory, so eventually I gave up on Steinberg's hardware and jumped over to the UAD-2 world and finally I have everything I had in DSP Factory, but better and more.īut this new Neve collaboration looks interesting, but I am personally home with my Apollos. I really loved Steinberg's first collaboration with Yamaha, DSP Factory and I was disappointed to have to abandon it when Cubase stopped supporting it. ![]()
